Update – June 1, 2021: More Details about ICAF Indian Panorama
Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation (ICAF), the organisers of the Chennai International Film Festival, are screening Josef – Born in Grace and 5 other award-winning movies from around the country as part of their Indian Panorama celebration. Many ICAF members were unable to attend the screening at the 18th Chennai International Film Festival, and requested another way of watching the film.
We’re very happy to share our film with cinephiles, and honoured to share the billing with these other incredible Indian films:
- Bridge, directed by Kripal Kavita
- Pingara, directed by Preetham Shetty
- Harivu, Directed by Mansore
- JWLWI The Seed, directed by Rajni Basumatary
- Dots, directed by Shilpa Krishnan Shukla
The screenings will be held online from June 7th to June 13th, 2021. Contact ICAF for details on how to watch the movie.

May 29, 2021: As part of their members’ programme, the Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation is screening Josef – Born in Grace as part of their Indian Panorama selection and we’re very excited! Our film will be screened virtually for its members and anyone who requests a viewing.
Earlier this year, the film had been a part of the Chennai International Film Festival which was a lovely experience for us. However, with the nature of the pandemic being as it is, many of ICAF’s members were not able to watch the film because they were trying to stay as isolated as possible. It was thanks to them asking to watch the film that ICAF approached us, and we’re really happy that so many cinephiles will get a chance to watch the film in this manner.
So while we remain in lockdown in many parts of the country, we hope the film brings you some hope and faith to get you through these turbulent times. You can learn how to watch the film on their Facebook page
