The Manikarnika International Film Festival 2022 has been really special to us. We couldn’t be happier to share that the actor Subrat Dutta, who played Josef in our film “Josef – Born in Grace”, has won the Best Actor award.
“Josef – Born in Grace” was selected at the Manikarnika International Film Festival that ran from 15th to 18th October 2022 at Shree Nagari Natak Mandali Trust, Kabir Road, Varanasi, U.P.
During the shoot, Subrat was caught rehearsing his dialogues under a blanket. He didn’t want any distractions and he was completely immersed in the role he had chosen to play. He lived the character. We were so amazed by his commitment and the method of his acting.
Congratulations to him from our entire UAKC team. It is truly a well-deserved honour. Subrat put a lot of effort into portraying such a complex role. Josef really came to life because of his hard work and dedication. We had a great time working with him. Our experience with him was so positive that we look forward to working with him again in the future.
